The journal of Biomechanism and Bioenergy Research (BBR) is a peer-reviewed open-access international journal devoted to the fields of biosystems, bio-machineries and biological engineering. This journal is quarterly published by Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman and is scientifically supported by the Iranian Society of Agricultural Machinery Engineering and Mechanization (ISAMEM).

The journal publishes both research and review papers. The submitted manuscripts are subject to double-blind peer review process. In the subfield of biomechanism, the BBR journal welcomes manuscripts describing design, evaluation, optimization, mechanical analysis and mathematical modelling of machines for feed, fiber and food production.

In the bioenergy section, this journal accepts manuscripts related to thermochemical and biochemical conversions of biomass for biofuel production, as well as fuels and biofuel utilization for agricultural equipment and operations.
